Fifty young artists from different regions of the country, as well as from Hungary, Poland and Belarus, visited Uzhhorod within the framework of the Open Student Contest in Painting "Silver Easel".

Some of them participated in the contest before, but someone came there for the first time. Impressions and thoughts about the contest – from the contestants Serhii Korabelnikov (National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, Kyiv) and Anastasiia Shevchuk (Opole University, Poland).

Anastasiia is a student of the higher educational institution in Opole, Poland. She came to the "Silver Easel" for the first time, so everything was new to her. "Uzhhorod is a very interesting, picturesque and cosy city. I like travelling and I can say honestly: Uzhhorod is a discovery for me, as well as the "Silver Easel" itself. I have a lot of impressions. It was pleasant for me to see numerous artists from Ukraine and from abroad – all of them are people of the same mind, they have something to talk about, it’s great for us. "Silver Easel" is a good opportunity to get something new, interesting, to meet with like-minded people, colleagues from different corners of Ukraine. I was glad to be there!"

Serhii participated in the contest for the second time and had something to compare: "There were more days to prepare, to get acquainted with the city. We were given more time – it is nice. In general, I have very good impressions from the "Silver Easel". Great appreciation to the Brovdi family, they make a tremendous contribution to the art development! I am also sincerely grateful to all project partners. The contest provides an opportunity not only to work but also to have a good time and relax. "Silver Easel" – a unique opportunity to show yourself and get inspiration."
