We are watching the success stories of the "Silver Easel" contestants and are happy for them! They show that participation in the contest for many young artists has become an important step towards their own development. Talented boys and girls believe in themselves, work actively - organize exhibitions, implement art projects, shows. And these days, another of our participants, a student of the National Academy of Fine Arts Myroslava-Anastasiia Fedchenko, showed her talent to the public.

The talented girl took part in the 3rd "Silver Easel" contest held in Uzhhorod last October. And already on 20 January 2018 in the Kyiv gallery "Triptych ART", it was opened her personal exhibition.
With the exposition "Triptych +" the girl decided to sum up certain creative and vital results, so the date was not chosen by chance – it was Myroslava’s birthday. "Not only the date of the exhibition, but also the presented works, and even the materials have a symbolic meaning for me", the young artist notes.

The girl systematized her dozen works on certain features: "I have divided the work into blocks - each of them symbolizes the connection between the spiritual and the material. They are formed according to the used material. Thus, in particular, there are works from sand, wax, rosin - natural materials, I perceive them integrally. Sand for me is a symbol of childhood immediacy – it is lost with the experience. Wax and rosin are something spiritual. These are specific material structures as to the image, this material is maximally natural, pure to me," says Myroslava Fedchenko.

The artist was working on the presented compositions for about two and a half years. She says that sometimes it takes 2-3 hours to create a picture, but sometimes much longer. All works are abstract, but Myroslava notes: "They can be considered in a sense self-portrait, not literally, of course. This is what's inside of me, what inspires and fills me. However, we can also see one portrait – it is a collective image of people around me. They are all about inner freedom, conceived in order to encourage the viewer to search for the whole “inner self”. This is a mirror message to the viewer because often we are mirrors for each other ourselves."

You can visit the exposition until 2 February in the gallery "Triptych Art", Kyiv.

The whole team of "Silver Easel" congratulates Myroslava-Anastasiia on your birthday! We wish you to have new events in your life, good luck and may all your dreams come true! We are proud of your success, and in the future, we wish to live with what is in your heart, and for us – to discover ourselves through your incredible and profound works!
