Inspired by the atmosphere of the "Silver Easel", the participants actively work on themselves, seek for and find new ways to implement their plans. Thus, on 2 March 2018, in the House of Folk Art in Kharkiv, it was opened a collective exhibition of the works by the participants of the creative association "Artists from the Street of Arts". It is titled "Call of the Heart".

"Artists from the Street of Arts" is a group of young artists united by the common desire to create. It includes participants of the 3rd Open Student Contest in Painting "Silver Easel" – Hanna Kozeletska and Yaroslav Leonets, as well as their girlfriends-artists Albina Abdirova, Anna Bilyk and Mariia Opanasenko.

Hanna Kozeletska says: "We are all classmates –we attend extra classes together, go to the plein airs... Hence the idea to unite our creative efforts to recreate what was lost in art, and to bring something new into it as well. We dream not just to stand firmly on our feet in the future, but to make the unification unique and recognizable – with our own style. We want to make art."

Hanna admits that the idea of creating the association was born a long time ago, but "Silver Easel" generated it: "Every meeting in one’s life has its own influence and significance. During the contest, I saw how other young artists work, talked to the masters of Ukrainian contemporary art. Although I did not receive any award at the contest, I got more for myself. Sometimes losing is much more important than winning, it stimulates to move forward! I was inspired by the approaches of other participants, acquaintance with different schools of painting. It motivates myself to create something own, creative, go beyond, to be expressed, to be not just an artist – to be a person!"

The exhibition "Call of the Heart" was a debut for young talents and the first of a number of thematic projects that they planned to implement in the future. The curator of the exhibition was Valerii Zavershytskyi.

In particular, the exposition presented about 30 paintings and the same number of graphics. There were numerous genres – landscape, still life, portrait; and a variety of techniques amazed – oil, tempera, mosaic gold, sauce, coal, ink and even coffee, mixed techniques, etc.

The highlight of the exhibition was the joint work of participants in the Ukrainian neomodern style on the theme "Breakfast with the Sun" – everyone brought his vision and understanding of the idea to the canvas.

"Each of us performed a certain part of the work, we were discussing, debating, and implemented this plan together. As far as we know, there has been nothing like that before – two artists maximum worked on one composition, but not five. And though it's difficult but interesting," Yaroslav Leonets said.

The "Call of the Heart" exhibition will last until 23 March 2018.
