13 October 2017. The artist must always provoke! An artist Pavlo Kerestei instructed the participants of the Open Student Contest in Painting "Silver Easel".

There was no free place in the conference hall of Ungvarskyi Hotel in Uzhhorod - it was filled up by the participants, guests, organizers of the "Silver Easel". Despite this, numerous artists, art critics, and lovers of beauty came to talk to the talented native of Uzhhorod - Pavlo Kerestei. The artist was born here in the city over the Uzh River in 1962. Now he is a well-known figure in the art circles of Ukraine and the whole world - he lives and works in London, he is the author of installations, performances, theoretical texts, a curator, photo and video artist, and painter. Pavlo is a participant of numerous personal and collective exhibitions in Ukraine and abroad, and his works are kept in private collections in Ukraine, Europe, and the USA.

Now, at the invitation of the founders of Art & Culture Foundation Brovdi Art and "Silver Easel", Pavlo Kerestei came to Uzhhorod to act as a jury member of the art event. Moreover, the artist agreed to chat with talented youth, to tell about himself, his way in art, to show his projects and to tell about the stages and peculiarities of their creation.

The artist's projects were amazing, fascinating, and they even shocked the present guests, above all because he raised the urgent social issues - tolerance, competition, crime ... By telling about his own creative way, he encouraged young artists to expand their horizons at every opportunity, including to learn foreign languages, as it is a guarantee of easy communication with artists from other countries.

Present at the presentation Danish collage artist of Ukrainian origin Serhii Sviatchenko highly appreciated the creativity of Pavlo Kerestei, noting the uniqueness of his works.
