The boy says that he's always perceived himself as an ambitious and free artist, but during the contest, he saw other equally talented and creative young people who changed his views.
"At the contest, among 50 talented artists, I saw a wider range of opportunities and a variety of talents. I was pleasantly surprised that there were a lot of people who thought in terms of contemporary art, not limited by academicism. I saw that it was possible to create wider, freer. Especially, I was impressed by the creative work of Bohdan Bieliei. It was unexpected that someone could go beyond the canvas," says the artist.

Participation in the "Silver Easel" was one of the motivating factors in finding himself, Denys has long thought about the place of the artist in the world. He says: "Now I'm in a broader search not for a technique or style. Actually, I want to find my direction in art."

In general, according to the young artist, the author in the modern world should be ready for change and be able to face various vital and artistic challenges. "I have a definite direction in which I am moving, and what it will be – canvas, installation or animation – is not so significant. In the first place is the idea, and the way of expression is the secondary."

In the end, communicating with talented young people and outstanding artists also influenced Denys's views. He explains: "The contest gave an impetus to think deeper. I want to participate more often in such art projects and in the artistic life of Ukraine as a whole. "
