Another pleasant news from the participants of the “Silver Easel” – laureate of the 2nd contest, a student of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture (Kyiv) Anastasiia Telychuk for the first time presented her works to the public. The personal exhibition of the artist was opened on 13 February 2018 in the Kyiv gallery "Vysotskyi in Vozdvyzhenka" and will last until 8 March.

It should be noted that before Anastasia participated only in the collective exhibitions, in particular, in the recent all-Ukrainian Christmas exhibition, which took place in the capital. But now the girl finally matured to submit her works in a complete format.

At the exhibition, there are about a dozen works of Anastasiia. The artist says that this is, in her opinion, the finest paintings created during the last few years. Interestingly, the student organized the exposition entirely by herself. All the paintings are made with oil on canvas – Anastasiia likes this technique. The only exception is the work "Evening" created on cardboard.

Favourite genre of the artist – landscapes, so they are prevailing at the exhibition. The artist aims to, first of all, convey on the canvas the sounds and breathing of nature, and only then – the "portrait of the land". "Nature is alive and has its personality, fragility and endless uniqueness," Nastia notes. A lot of artists come up with something new but again come back to the surrounding and the pristine. Painting is defenceless in front of fashion and modernity, but this is its strength." According to the girl, the real artist should be responsible for what he portrays, what feelings he harbours and for what reasons he has.

In general, by its exposition, the artist calls the viewers to a deeper understanding, the perception of the surrounding world – in all its multifacetedness, complexity and fragility simultaneously. "One should behold more often a living thing than a monitor or a mirror. Learn to enjoy nature and co-exist with it in harmony", Anastasia notes.

By the way, the student's first personal exhibition became possible thanks to the participation in the “Silver Easel” contest. It was the visit to Uzhhorod that helped Anastasiia analyse herself, and on the other hand, to look at her works. "Previously, I was quite self-critical of myself and my work, and "Silver Easel" helped me to open up, perceive art in a different way. The role and familiarity at the contest for the well-known artist Anatoly Kryvolap, who helped with advice, instructions, played his role. Thus, I thank the "Silver Eesel" for the inspiration!"

Nastia, we congratulate you on your personal exhibition! This is the first, but very important step on your creative path! We believe in you, remember this! As the success of each participant is a confirmation of the importance of our joint work, it is an inspiration for us to work in the future!
