Visitors to the exhibition “Monologues of Anastasiia Khudiakova” had the opportunity to speak to the artist through her paintings, to understand her nature and mood. The exposition was opened on 29 June 2018 in the exhibition hall of the Museum of Fine Arts named after O. Bilyi in Chornomorsk.

Participant of the “Silver Easel” contest, a citizen of Kharkiv Anastasiia Khudiakova presented about four dozen works created in recent years.

The exhibition presents the works of various genres as the girl does not limit herself to the themes and often tries something new. In particular, there are portraits, still lifes, landscapes, abstractions, reliefs and figurative works in nude style. Techniques of performance are also different: oil predominates, but there are also acrylic and relief. In her works, the author uses even concrete, mounting foam, aerosol paint, and deformation – it creates the effect of the interaction of canvases with urbanistic ordinariness.

With her works, the young artist helps the viewers to look at everyday things from a different angle, with fresh eyes. She shows Kharkiv as habitual and at the same time different, however, in the way she sees it herself.

This exhibition demonstrates my thoughts, observations and arguments on various topics,” Anastasiia shares. “Together with the curator of the exhibition Valerii Zavershynskyi, we wanted to combine paintings on different themes. Of course, this is not easy. A lot of techniques, genres, but it's totally about me. That is why the exposition is titled “Monologue” – a message, a story that cannot remain without a listener.”

The works were placed in the way to create a certain situation and encourage the viewers to contemplate, guess, and play. Each so-called monologue, as stated in the annotation to the exhibition, “... tells stories, using sometimes directness and frankness and sometimes allegories or a viewer's imagination. This immersion in the history of love and human relationships, where the main characters are young people who choose their own way.”
