Students Anastasiia Shevchuk, the participant of the “Silver Easel” and Olha Koval decided to implement the joint project of the Department of Arts of the Opole University (Opole, Poland) and Design Department of the National Forestry University (Lviv, Ukraine). The girls got a bachelor's degree in Ukraine and went to improve their skills to Poland.

"Thus the idea was born," Nastia says. “The difference between the students' perception of art and the general life outlook is quite big. As soon as we moved to Poland, we had to adjust, get used to it. With this project, which is a kind of supplement to the diploma paper, we decided to show the difference in the perception of art here and there."

30 young artists from Poland and Ukraine joined the exhibition "Beyond the Frames" presenting their own works within the framework of the project – series, diptych or triptych, and others. "We deliberately did not set the framework for the participants, so that they can create the way they wish," Anastasiia explains. “The freedom of opinion and flight of imagination were also reflected in the techniques the students worked in: silk screen printing, painting, various graphics (computer, etching, pen, etc.), animation, etc. Each work – an individual vision, approach, method and technique that will allow the viewer to go beyond the usual – to be beyond the scope.

"During the "Silver Easel" I met young people from everywhere, I had the opportunity to compare the influence of various art schools. It inspired to create something new. And now, when I see the successes of other participants, it cannot but please. This is cool! The project "Beyond the Frames" also makes it possible to compare the work of representatives of different schools – I want to have more opportunities for such an experience exchange! "
