The smell of fresh paintі and tobacco is probably the first thing that the participants of "Silver Easel" will remember after the excursion to the author's museum of Volodymyr Mykyta.

About 90 paintings, located in the museum, reflect different periods of creative work of the People's Artist of Ukraine. However, presented here are not only the paintings, but also the interior items of the parents' house of the artist: candlesticks, wooden caskets, and furniture.

Volodymyr Mykyta is the Jury member of "Silver Easel", so during the meeting, he advised the participants to avoid repetition, copying, but to lay out their personal vision.

"You face a difficult task, but everything will come out if you work fruitfully and attentively, find yourself, not to cheat off, but to create your own. I do not like to give advice or instructions, so I want everyone to be creative, to show the entire picture because it is about the landscape. You should not see only the architecture or nature, notice the overall picture," the artist said.
